Bio
Tom Wilson is a pianist/producer based out of Brooklyn. He is an organist and keyboard player, best known for Blues/Jazz Music who can be seen in the West Village with the Stew Cutler Group weekly, and is part of the Speak Freely Trio with Drew Vandewinckel and David Frazier. Tom has been the Musical Director for a Cabaret drag show in the Lower East Side called MARY and SOB’s Rhythm of The Night event. He is currently directing “The Heat is On! The Life of Rita Hayworth” featuring Quinn Lemley, another cabaret show that happens monthly at Don’t Tell Mama’s in midtown highlighting the life of Rita Hayworth. Tom also directs Rebel Rebel: The Many Lives of David Bowie, which is a touring show of the music of David Bowie.
Most recently, Tom has been building his portfolio in production; He has produced the solo album for Leo P (of Too Many Zooz’s) that was released in November of 2022 and is working on production for Michael Lee and Shanachie Records, in addition to his own original music. He performs with his piano trio in Manhattan and Brooklyn regularly, playing jazz standards, originals, and selected contemporary works.
