Mariella Price is an award-winning songwriter and vocalist ( Billboard World Songwriting Contest Grand Prize 2008, John Lennon Songwriting Contest Finalist 2022, USA Songwriting Competition Finalist 2021) and has performed at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, and International Jazz Festivals. In 2015 Mariella led an all female jazz band on a goodwill tour through Nicaragua as cultural ambassadors for The State Department. She has also held residencies at The Top Of The Standard Hotel, The Gansevoort Hotel, The Knickerbocker Hotel, and Tavern On The Green. She has been featured on Sesame Street seasons 40 and 41, and in Elmo’s Music Magic DVD as well as the Grammy Nominated album Fu Chronicles. A genre-busting artist, Mariella is also the co-founder and co-host of critically acclaimed and long running hip hop jam session, Freestyle Mondays. Chances are you’ve heard her on radio and the dance floor from her collaborations with Mark de Clive Lowe, Nickodemus, Sabo, and DJ Vadim among others.
Mariella is also the founder of Jazz Baby Music- classes, and concerts combining her love of jazz standards, popular music, and multi-sensory play.
Rahul Shah is a saxophonist and a woodwind doubler from Birmingham, Alabama. Having
graduated in May of 2022 from Eastman School of Music, he is currently pursuing his graduate
degree in Jazz Performance, as a student of Vincent Herring, at the Manhattan School of Music.
Rahul has participated in programs such as the award-winning First Edition Jazz Band, who have
competed in competitions such as the Savannah Swing Central competition and Essentially
Ellington.
Rahul has had the opportunity to play alongside distinguished musicians such as John Clayton,
Clay Jenkins, and Jeff Cambell just to name a few. He has studied with his role models such as
Vincent Herring, Charles Pillow, Gary Versace, Melissa Aldana, Sam Dillon, Bill Dobbins,
Wycliffe Gordon, Marcus Printup, amongst others.
In September 2012 she began attending William Paterson University where she received her Masters in Jazz Piano Performance. She took private lessons with acclaimed pianists Harold Mabern and James Weidman. She also had the privilege of taking a semester of arranging lessons with master Cecil Bridgewater and three semesters of classical piano lessons with the amazing pianist and educator Gary Kirkpatrick. While studying at William Paterson she was also able to perform in ensembles directed by the late master of the piano, Mulgrew Miller, as well as Bill Mobley, Armen Donelian, Rich Perry, Dave Rogers, and Bill Goodwin among others. For her last two semesters she was the pianist in the William Paterson Jazz Orchestra led by head of the WP Jazz Department, Dr. David Demsey. In this band she had the opportunity to perform with NEA Jazz Master Jimmy Heath and legendary jazz vibraphonist Steve Nelson. Kelly also received the Outstanding Graduate Music Student Award for her class. In June 2014 Kelly was chosen to be the pianist in the William Paterson Colombia Band, which toured three cities in Colombia, South America. In Colombia, the band taught at two week long jazz clinics and performed at three large concert halls.
In December 2016 she recorded her debut album “Life Rearranged”(2017) including wonderful musicians Christian McBride, Steve Nelson, Josh Evans, Kush Abadey, Jovan Alexandre, Matt Dwonszyk, Noam Israeli, Tamir Shmerling, and Mike Troy. It is completed and is available on all platforms.

Izaak Mills (sax) and Seth Myers (upright bass) have been collaborating for over 10 years to bring people an extremely varied and dynamic repertoire of songs and grooves. Together with Charlie Steiner on drums, the trio flows between roles. Whether it’s time for a throbbing dance party or elegant background vibes, Contemporary Adults has something for everyone.
Hailing from Israel, Brooklyn resident Dan Weisselberg is a contemporary straight-ahead jazz bass player.
After over a decade of experimenting and learning the world of Jazz and western music, it is easy to hear many influences from both old school bass masters as Oscar Pettiford, Ray Brown, Paul Chambers, Bob Cranshaw, and Ron Carter, alongside bass players of our time – Pat O’leary, Ari Roland, Neal Miner, Tyler Mitchel, and Neal Caine to name a few.
The stylistic range of music Dan is mostly identified with is the great American songbook, as well as Be-Bop and Hard-Bop composers as: Horace Silver, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, Dizzy Gillespie, Barry Harris etc…
His search for deep, warm sound has led him to use gut strings, and to aim for a clean, pure “acoustic” sound. This sound, combined with a wide and supportive sense of beat have made him a name among his peers, and respected by high caliber musicians such as- Grant Stewart, Michael Kanan, Tardo Hammer, Joe Magnarelli, Frank Basile, John Webber, Chris Flory, etc. With whom he plays on a regular basis.
Brandon Suarez is one of the up and coming tenor saxophonists in NYC today.
Growing up in Miami and being from Cuba, Brandon was surrounded by a lot of Cuban
music and deeply rooted in that style. Even though he was brought up in that scene he
is truly able to express himself playing in the bebop idiom and swing era. Since Brandon
was very young he has always loved people like Charlie Parker, Sonny Stitt, John
Coltrane developed a concept at such a young age. This led him to perform and that
legendary Monterey Jazz Festival in Monterey California. Even though he was the
younger musician there, he was able to play with the great Eric Harland and Gerald
Clayton on the main stage. Also during the festival he was able to converse with Herbie
Hancock and talk about music. Brandon was just eighteen at the time but he was able
to communicate and play with some of the most leading Jazz musicians in the world.
When he first arrived in New York City he was lucky enough to meet the great Vincent
Herring and he would go to his house on the weekends to play. There, not only did they
become really great friends but Vincent started to call Brandon to sub for the Mingus big
band and other various gigs. This led Vincent to call Brandon for a month long tour in
Japan along side with the great Eric Alexander. Here he learned what it takes to be on
the road and also immersed himself in the Japanese tradition. Playing in the bebop
idiom, Brandon was able to really express his true self alongside the best saxophonist in
the world. This opened a whole new door for Brandon and now he is one of the top
tenor players in New York getting called for various gigs.
AMOS ROSE is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist based in New York City. He is a founding member of Mama Juke, a roots rock and country blues band. He also performs hot jazz and Brazilian music under his own name and as a sideman with numerous bands around the city.
Amos has performed in various renowned venues, such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, Blue Note Jazz Festival, B.B. King’s Blues Club, the Iridium Jazz Club, the 92nd Street YMCA, the New York Public Library, the Smithsonian Museum, Rockwood Music Hall, Webster Hall, the Manderley Bar at the McKittrick Hotel, The Gansevoort Park Ave Rooftop, the St. Regis Hotel., and many more.
Amos Rose has had the pleasure of collaborating with Tatiana Eva-Marie, Cyrille Aimee, Sasha Masakowski, Keita Ogawa, Clarice Assad, Dominic Farinacci, Matt Munisteri, Sam Dillon, Bernard Purdie, Christine Cherry, Spiral Jetty Club, the Ben Kogan Band, Joanna Sternberg, Megg Farrell, and Adrian DiMatteo.
Multifaceted actor and New York jazz musician, Bryan Eng has already begun to make big strides across industries in the entertainment scene. His unique talents have been featured on Broadway, TV, feature films, commercials, and revered performance venues around the country such as the Kennedy Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall, Birdland Jazz Club, Drury Lane Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, Marriott Theatre, Ford’s Theatre, and others.
Shortly before turning 20 years old, Bryan’s talents as a performer earned him representation from one of Chicago’s finest talent agencies, Stewart Talent. While still a student, and within his first year represented on the Chicago scene, Bryan made his network television debut, commercial debut and Chicago theatre debut as an actor. In that same year, he released his tour de force debut album, 20, featuring his talents as a singer, pianist, arranger, orchestrator and producer leading a 27-piece jazz orchestra. This landmark debut year as a Chicago entertainer established him as one of his generation’s most promising young entertainers.At the beginning of 2022, Bryan was invited to join the cast of Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite on Broadway starring Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker. Now, living in the entertainment capital of the world, Bryan’s talents are being recognized on the most elite stage. After the limited run of Plaza Suite closed, Bryan went on to be featured in Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall and headline his debut sold-out show at the premier, Birdland Jazz Club. His ‘Circle Room’ trio is currently in residence at the esteemed Carlyle Hotel.
